The primary goal of this small group is to increase individual’s multicultural awareness to help further develop our congregation and enhance our ability to reflect the image of God. Members will begin this study by defining culture, self-reflecting on each group member’s individual home culture. Then, we will share individual findings with the group and discuss how individuals from diverse language and cultural backgrounds might successfully come together at FPC Springdale to worship and glorify God. Our first Creciendo Juntos/Growing Together small group meeting will be held Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 6 pm at Dennis and Marlene Schwerin’s home beginning with a cookout meal followed by our small group study. Tea, water, buns, chips, baked beans and Schwerin Farms burgers will be provided. Participants have the option of bringing a favorite family dish to share with others, but it is not required. During our first meeting we will discuss and determine our next small group meeting date and location.
